New City of Billings – 911 Communications Center
The City of Billings has built a new $6 million-dollar, 9,200 square foot 911 Communications Center, nearly doubling the size of the existing call center. This 911 Communications Center handles emergency calls for Billings Police, Yellowstone County Sheriff’s deputies, Billings firefighters, AMR ambulance crews, the crash/fire/rescue team at the Billings airport, 15 rural departments, and various state and federal agencies. High Tech Solutions was honored to have part in the construction of this high security building that is so important to our community. Due to the security level of this building, details of the systems installed are not provided. We can share that we installed such systems as the fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and redundant structured category and fiber networks.
